On May 13, 2021, the Planet exhausted its “last cartridges” with Portugal.
Today is marked as Over Shoot Day, the day of the year when the Portuguese demand natural resources, which through the Earth’s regenerative capacity, are only supposed to be consumed from January 1, 2022.
More than ever, there is an urgent need to evolve the lifestyle paradigm to one that incorporates sustainable behaviors with a smaller ecological footprint, defined by less consumption of these resources.
