ABA – Advanced Bioenergy Association interviews CEO Telmo Adrego

An interview with the CEO of Resiway, Telmo Adrego, appeared today on the ABA – Advanced Bioenergy Association website.

The interview included a series of questions related to the importance of the production and evolution of technical oils at national and international level.

“Resiway is a company specializing in the production and supply of intermediate products of residual origin for the biofuel industry. By providing a solution for the treatment and recovery of waste streams with high levels of oils and fats, it prevents them from being sent to disposal destinations.

When Resiway was born in 2016, there was still no talk of advanced biofuels in Portugal and the national biodiesel market was still taking its first steps towards technologically equipping itself with the capacity to process raw materials of residual origin with higher levels of acidity and contaminants. In the first three years, the destination market for its production was Spain.

Today, however, when people talk about advanced biofuels or raw materials for this industry, they talk about Resiway. In 2021, they can already say that 80% of their production will be used in Portugal.”
